I photographed this photo of Bison at Yellowstone National Park in August of 2021 when my family and I took a two-week road trip to several national parks. We visited this park near the end of our road trip after visiting the mighty 5 parks in Utah. It is a really interesting fact to learn that Yellowstone is the only place in the United States where bison have lived continuously since prehistoric times. While visiting the park I saw more bison than I have ever seen before, so I can definitely believe this fact to be true.

Whenever you are near a hot spring, such as this one, you must be very cautious. Hydrothermal water can severely burn people and animals.
